Going for Gold
Three NA students win Scholastic Gold Medal Awards.
Seniors Brendan James and Greta Skagerlind received National Gold Medal Awards in the 2014 Scholastic Art and Writing Competition. Greta earned this selective award for her triptych of posters, Cut and Dry; and Brendan for his photograph, Everglades Anhinga.
James Blume '19 also won Gold in the Flash Fiction category, for his story Are Rabbit Feet Really Lucky?
All works will be displayed at the Art.Write.Now exhibit in New York City for three weeks following an award ceremony on June 6 at Carnegie Hall.
