Alumni

Always NA

Around the world and around the corner, men and women who spend a portion of their lives at Newark Academy echo familiar refrains – educators leading them to deeper understandings of the world and themselves; mentors meeting them where they are and compassionately guiding them toward greater capacity; life-long friends sharing life-enhancing lessons. Beginning the journey as individual adolescents, our students gradually become a community, connected by an educational experience that is uniquely Newark Academy. Graduation marks the conclusion in the first leg of that journey.
Most of NA’s nearly 5,000 alumni say that no matter where the rest of the journey takes them, they remain tethered to the community that taught them to think critically, communicate effectively and engage compassionately. While educating today’s students remains Newark Academy’s primary purpose, that purpose is solidly grounded in the belief that every student, of every generation is a valuable part of our vibrant community.

The Alumni Board of Governors and the Alumni Relations staff at Newark Academy have primary responsibility for providing alumni from every generation with relevant, rewarding opportunities to engage with classmates, former teachers and the school community at large. From visits to campus and fun-filled events in cities around the United States to innovative, mobile opportunities for career and personal development, NA offers something for alums at every life stage.
