• Gifts by Credit Card

  Newark Academy offers donor secure credit card donations by Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Discover.
  
  Donors may provide credit card information via Newark Academy’s website, a reply envelope included in an NA request for funds or by calling the Office of Institutional Advancement at 973-992-7000, ext. 321. Please do not send your credit card information to Newark Academy via email.

• Recurring Gift

  Maximize the influence of your gift with the convenience of automatic monthly payments and become a NA Sustainer. It’s easy to setup, and you join the ranks of passionate NA supporters who make their impact felt year-round.  
  
  Donors of recurring gifts can be members of the Ad Lumen Society, NA’s leadership gift club, with a total gift of $1,774 or more to the Newark Academy Fund In fact, many of our donors find that setting up a recurring gift is the most manageable way to reach that level of recognition.

• Gifts by Transfer of Appreciated Securities/Stock

  Donors may enjoy additional tax benefits by making a gift to Newark Academy by transferring appreciated securities (stock).  Newark Academy’s Gift Acceptance policies require that any gifts made via transfer of appreciated securities must be sold immediately with Newark Academy retaining the total sale price of the gifted stock.

• Making a Pledge

  If you would like to make a pledge to the Newark Academy Fund, please contact the Office of Institutional Advancement at 973-992-7000 ext. 321.
  
  

  Donors who intend to support the Newark Academy Fund with a gift each year between July 1 and June 30 may indicate their gift amount at any point in the year and make payment(s) to fulfill that payment by June 30 of each year. 

  
  For those interested in supporting a Scholarship or Special Initiative, as outlined here, pledges may be made and then fulfilled over a three-year pledge period, dating from the first payment. 
  
  Due to accounting regulations, Newark Academy may only acknowledge documented pledge agreements. Donors who make gifts via Donor Advised Funds may provide documentation in the form of a Gift Intention Form, which is not binding and in compliance with all federal and state regulations governing Donor Advised Funds.

• Corporate Matching Gifts

  NA supporters can increase their gift amount, without additional out-of-pocket costs, by taking advantage of matching charitable gift programs offered by their employer.  Many corporations match their employee’s philanthropic contributions, dollar-for-dollar and some corporations will even match your support at a 2:1 ratio.

Donors wishing to take advantage of their company’s matching gift program should request a matching gift form from their Department of Human Resources and attach it when sending a physical check to Newark Academy.
