Putting People First
By any measure, Newark Academy holds a position of strength among the nation’s top private day schools. This strength does not exist by happenstance but as a result of conscientious long-term planning and persistent execution of those plans. NA’s comprehensive strategic planning process is undertaken every three-to-five years and is led by the Board of Trustees.
Newark Academy’s 2023-2027 strategic plan, Putting People First, builds on the institution’s many strengths as well as author an aspirational and inspirational roadmap for the future. The plan’s four goals call for the school to amplify support of faculty and staff, refresh and renew parts of student experience, promote authentic and meaningful community engagement, and commit to impactful spaces and sustainable practices.
