  • Upper School Academics

    • In 1991, NA was the first school in New Jersey authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program. Coursework prepares students for 27 different IB exams across all subject areas. NA students had a 100 percent diploma pass rate in 2024.
    • In May 2024:
      • 185 students completed a total of 1,206 IB examinations.
      • 160 students sat for a total of 196 Advanced Placement (AP) tests.
    • 65 members of the Class of 2025 are pursuing the full IB diploma.
    • Approximately 97 percent of the Class of 2025 is enrolled in at least one IB course.
    • Approximately 60 percent of students enroll in art classes beyond the 1-year graduation requirement.
    • NA offers six opportunities for extended off-campus study for rising 10th and 11th grade students across the country and around the world.
