Extracurricular Opportunities
More than 60 student clubs and activities are available to students in the Upper School. There are 27 extracurricular clubs for Middle School students.

There are 20 choral and instrumental music groups with multiple performance opportunities across a wide range of musical styles.

Upper School Academics
In 1991, NA was the first school in New Jersey authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program. Coursework prepares students for 27 different IB exams across all subject areas. NA students had a 100 percent diploma pass rate in 2024.
In May 2024:
185 students completed a total of 1,206 IB examinations.
160 students sat for a total of 196 Advanced Placement (AP) tests.
65 members of the Class of 2025 are pursuing the full IB diploma.
Approximately 97 percent of the Class of 2025 is enrolled in at least one IB course.
Approximately 60 percent of students enroll in art classes beyond the 1-year graduation requirement.
NA offers six opportunities for extended off-campus study for rising 10th and 11th grade students across the country and around the world.

Middle School Academics
39 percent of the Class of 2029 is enrolled in an Upper School math class.
Over the course of three years in Middle School, students spend 10 nights on overnight, experiential school trips.
The Wilf Middle School building has 10 dedicated classrooms, three fully-equipped science labs, and two common spaces for student gatherings and an outdoor play area.
Each year, Middle School students participate in a Day of Service.
