IB Arts Courses at NA

International Baccalaureate (IB) classes are offered in all of the arts disciplines; Visual Art, Dance, Theatre, and Music. These two-year courses provide passionate art students the opportunity to immerse themselves in all aspects of their respective disciplines. Advanced instruction in technical skills and the time and space to practice, enables students to express themselves creatively and meaningfully. Through the study and analysis of great works of art from across time and around the world, students take a broader view of different individuals, nations, and cultures, enabling them to appreciate the multiplicity of cultural and historical perspectives.

The courses culminate in the spring of the senior year when students submit a portfolio of their own work/performances, as well as written analysis for the external assessment.
