Forming friendships & building skills: Student life at Newark Academy
The Newark Academy experience doesn’t end with the final class of the day. Our students and faculty are active and involved in learning within and beyond the classroom. NA students stay on campus to meet with friends, work with classmates, and explore new interests—from sports and the arts to clubs and special events.
In a typical week, an NA student might spend their afternoons involved in athletic practices and games, plays or musical performances, academic or special-interest club meetings, and tutoring and group studies. All of these opportunities – and many others – afford NA students the opportunity to hone organizational, time management and leadership skills upon which they will rely for years to come.
Whatever shape your interests take, you’ll have many opportunities to pursue them at NA—in our classrooms, but also within our dynamic, engaged community.
