JTole Summer Jazz Camp

Learn Jazz Music As A Language!

The JTole Summer Jazz Camp is a one-of-a-kind experience for students in Grades 6-12 who want to study jazz or start playing jazz. The camp runs Monday through Friday, July 14- July 25, from 1:00 pm.-5:00 pm. each day.
Tuition: $1200

During the two-week program, students have the opportunity to play in a big band as well as in a small group. A variety of clinics are offered, with a focus on learning a specific instrument, improvisation and how to practice in an efficient way. Students are guided by some of the most accomplished jazz musicians and educators in the world.

Each student will learn to play jazz at their specific level and progress to their potential. Students will be assessed and placed in groups based on both experience and ability.

  • Beginners - will receive the support required to have a positive introduction to jazz
  • Advanced students - will have opportunities to play with professional musicians and other advanced students

The JTole experience culminates into an exciting public performance, showcasing the student groups along with some special guests!
“Mr. T changed my child’s life by introducing him to jazz. He is an inspirational and dedicated teacher that your children will always remember as making a difference in their lives. Mr. T motivates kids to give their absolute best by sparking a passion and dedication through the discipline of music making that will transcend to all aspects of learning. Not only will he teach them to become accomplished musicians, but he will also make it really fun for them along the way!”
